Abstract

The mission of the Department of Human Services (DHS) is to coordinate and provide a range of services that collectively create the enabling conditions for economic and socially challenged residents of the District of Columbia to enhance their quality of life and achieve greater degrees of self-sufficiency. Hypothermia Watch Partner Program: Hypothermia Shelters designed to prevent hypothermia deaths among the homeless by providing District citizens with a hotline number they can call to have homeless persons who are outside in freezing temperatures picked up by a van and transported to a local shelter. Purpose

This dataset has been created by Citywide Data Warehouse program. The mission of the Citywide Data Warehouse is to provide timely and accurate information for decision-making; support executive and agency management in the implementation of business processes which will guarantee access to useful and well-organized information for DC Government workers, non-governmental organizations, and the public.
