fax: (202) 727-5660 hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm | Universities were identified from public records, their websites, and maps (ADC Washington DC Atlas). A centroid for each university campus was heads-up digitized from the 1995 orthophotographs. Attribute data was provided by university websites. The square suffix lot attribute (if appropriate) was generated through comparison of the university with GIS data from the DC Office of Tax and Revenue. Planimetrics were created at a scale of 1:1,000. This means that a well defined feature falls within two feet of true position.
