Abstract

Snow Emergency Routes. This dataset contains lines representing locations of Snow Emergency Routes for the DC Region , created as part of the DDOT Geographic Information System (DDOT GIS) for the Office of Information Technology and Innovations (OITI) and participating D.C. government agencies.

These locations were identified from public records and heads-up digitized from the 1995 orthophotographs.

All DC GIS data is stored and exported in Maryland State Plane coordinates NAD 83 meters.

METADATA CONTENT IS IN PROCESS OF VALIDATION AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Purpose

This data is used for the planning and management of Washington, D.C. by local government agencies.

Contact DDOT GIS. Any data obtained outside of DDOT GIS and OCTO GIS are unauthorized copies.
