fax: (202) 727-5660 hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm | Polling Places were identified from lists published by the DC Board of Elections and Ethics website. A point shapefile was created by geocoding the addresses. These points were compared to the 2002 orthophotographs, the building footprint layer, and the DC Real Property Tax owner points for address and ownership information. A link to the appropriate website was provided for reference. The geocoded points were then moved to the center of the corresponding buildings and core attributes were added. Attribute data was provided by website records.
