Abstract
This dataset provides a listing of all licensed Child Development Homes in the District. The list is current from the date of its posting on June 26, 2007.
As part of the Health Regulation and Licensing Administration (HRLA), the Child and Residential Care Facilities Division licenses, inspects, and investigates complaints at Child Development Homes, and provides technical assistance, consultations, and training to them.
A child development home is a child development program that operates in a private residence for up to a total of five children and infants, with no more than two infants in the group. The total of five children and infants shall not include those of the caregiver who are six years old or older, provided that the total number of children of the caregiver between the ages of six and 15 years shall not exceed three, and of those three children, no more than two shall be 10 years old or younger.
